Mary A. Battaglia, 86, of Geneseo died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, on the Livingston County Middle for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Rosalie, Antoinette, Sara Battaglia and her twin Josephine Battaglia; and brothers, Carmine and Samuel Battaglia.

She is survived by her nieces, Barbara Battaglia of Geneseo, Carol (James) Schultz of Penfield, Regina (Richard) Reeves, Mary (Joseph) Estes, and nephew, Michael Conti, all of Alabama; a number of nice nephews; nice niece, Ashton Battaglia of Geneseo; and loving cousins, Mary and Jenn Mielke.

Mary was born Nov. 22, 1936, in Geneseo, N.Y., the daughter of Frank and Antoinette Sica Battaglia.

She was a graduate of Geneseo Excessive Faculty, Class of 1956.
